You’d Be Surprised at How Contagious It Is

What if we just all got along and chose to Be happy? Wouldn't it be easier? Absolutely!
It’s as though we jump at the chance to belittle someone, to prove, for no reason at all, that we are somehow better than they. Instead of choosing to see that people are doing their best at their level of awareness and allowing the situation to ‘roll off your back’, if you will, you choose to react; you behave in the same way. Why?  Instead of entertaining the situation, change it. Choose to be above it. It may sound cliché but it’s something taught from a very small age, ‘if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all’.  Don’t react to the negative situation, person, happening etc. Know that you can choose to respond in a way that comes from your heart – not your head.  Now your ego will want to protect you – it’s what it does, and when you feel this about to happen or already happening – take it back, you are more than your ego. If you are content with being upset all the time – then there is no need to worry about work – you require no change. Now if you are done with wasting precious energy on being upset and would rather find a purpose for it – get ready for some work! J We are creatures of habit and learning to undo a lifetime of habit ties for first with being a mother as the hardest and most beautiful things I could have ever imagined…and it’s just the beginning. Choose to be HAPPY, choose to be your own light; You’d Be Surprised at How Contagious It is~ those around you will love you for it – let us hope they mimic that.

I Remember

We sat up there waiting patiently and I looked at her and I asked her to

do one thing for me, ~Remember

Its never-ending. The realization of the gift I've been given.

The things I show her will make all the difference for her. Tears filled

my eyes. {I hope I do a good job.} Will she remember us standing there in

the lobby of a large room and the scents of winter as we walked?

Will she remember me in the way I hope?

The event began, her eyes lit up - she was amazed. I asked her to do one

thing for me, ~Remember.

It was over. I prayed that she would forever keep this experience in her

heart; the times spent with each other. We walked outside and she asked

with her eyes if we could, I said of course! We ran up the stairs in sync,

we reached the top, "WOW", she looked around, "It's beautiful mama!"

To her, we were on top of the world - being with her - I was.

Tears filled my eyes and I asked that she do just one thing for me...

~Remember

Remember being happy, remember all the beautiful things in life, remember

laughing, and remember being silly with me...and remember that I love her

more than anything in the world.

She held my hand as we ran to the car - we laughed the entire way! We

stopped and I held her tight, and we started walking. She let go of my

hand and ran on her own...I know eventually I'll have to let her go...This

is why I ask her to do just this one thing for me ~Remember.

This morning we were up before the sun! We sat for breakfast and I told

her I loved her and she said

~I remember...and I love you too mama.

The Beginning of The End

Reflecting on the year passed, I am thankful for all the lessons learned.

Be thankful for the questions - even if you have yet to live the answer.

Let today be the end of today - as yesterday was the end of yesterday. See that you are

always coming into an end and that it always begins with something new.

Coming into the beginning of the end is a beautiful thing; the

Paradox of it all is what makes it so. Let go of yesterday - do with

today what you can. {Happy New Days Eve}

Uni(Verse) Tree

Planted into the earth by root, my foundation is strong.

My curiosity sparks an escape and I soon can see the sun.

Being a part of the earth is very much engrained in my being.

Reaching for the stars is very much engrained in my soul.

I have watched, through many lifetimes, the changing of

seasons. I am a part of the beginning of time; I am a part of the end of it.

I am part of an undying force. In the inter-connectedness paradox of it all,

We are a part of the same one song, we are all a part of the tree of life~
